====== What is a /d/game ======
/d/games are fetishy porn games. What makes a /d/game is subjective and often results in much squibble, thus guidelines set out here a just that, guidelines.
  * **/d/games are fetishy**, they feature specific or niche fetishes that wouldnt be seen in mainstream games/doujins/media. A game which is vanilla is not /d/, additionally a game does not need to be hyperfixated on a single or couple of fetishes to be /d/ but can appeal to a wide range of fetishes (see [[games:degrees_of_lewdity]])
  * **/d/games are anime adjacent**, although the majority of the /d/ist /d/games are text-based making this point moot, many will feature paper doll systems, filler images or maybe one of the lucky few to have full artwork. In this regard what makes a /d/game is flexible with 2d pixel art, 2d vector art, 3d real porn and 3d models (this is tricky terriotory, try sticking with kokatsu/anime style models) and more counting. /d/games cant feature [[engine:Daz3d]] models.
  * **/d/games are interactive**, /d/games primarily rely on their gameplay systems to generate content. Either literally in the case many games thatll fill out descriptions of sex scenes using your stats, character info and game play a la [[games:liliths_thrones|Lilliths Throne (LT)]], or with battle fuck systems, RPG mechanics, Romance mechanics etc etc. **What /d/games are not are visual novels**. Generally if a game doesnt keep track of multiple variables evaluating your gameplay performance in any aspect then it isnt /d/.
